FC Dallas have announced today that they have acquired defender Kyle Davies from Real Salt Lake in exchange for the lowest of FCD’s three second round draft picks in next years MLS Superdraft. Kyle Davies has appeared for the US Under-20 team and is the teams current captain. Davies was picked up by Real Salt Lake in an MLS Player Loterry on April 16th. The 20 year old spent time with English club Southampton where he started in 11 reserve side matches before signing a four year deal with Major League Soccer.

Thoughts: This looks like a great pickup for FC Dallas, Davies is a young defender with a lot of upside, and they didn’t have to part with much.
