The Trinidad and Tobago Express is reporting that T&T striker Cornell Glen has signed a one year deal(with option for next season) with San Jose Earthquakes. The 28 year old striker has been on trial with the club and has apparently signed a deal with the club, seeing him return to Major League Soccer after stints with New York, Dallas, Columbus, Colorado and the Galaxy between 2004 and 2006. Glen had been on trail at various clubs in England, including Leeds United, but failed to secure a contract. Frank Yallop(SJ Manager) had previously acknowledged that the club had put a discovery claim on Glen, giving them time to evaluate whether or not they wanted to sign him. Glen has earned 51 caps to date for the Trinidad and Tobago National Team, scoring 21 goals and appearing in the 2006 Fifa World Cup.
