Soccer By Ives is reporting that Red Bull New York have officially waived veteran goalkeeper Jon Conway, and have signed Senegalese trialist Bouna Coundoul. Conway made 62 appearances for New York over his 3 year stay with the club but had been fighting for the starting spot with Danny Cepero. Coundoul made 52 appearances for the Colorado Rapids betweeen 2005 and 2008, earning two caps with the Senegal National Team. Coundoul had been on trial with New York for a few weeks, before ultimately signing with the struggling Eastern Conference side.
