The New York Times is reporting that ESPN have reached a deal with Gol TV, similar to their La Liga agreement, to show German Bundesliga games on the ESPN family of networks. The number of games to be broadcast on ESPN has yet to be determined, but it will be a boost for both Gol TV and the Bundesliga. This will greatly increase the visibility of the German top-flight and is good news for German footy fans in the United States. Gol TV is widely expected to make an official announcement of the agreement in the coming days.

What do you think of the deal? Do you currently watch the Bundesliga on Gol TV? If not will you watch it on ESPN?  Happy to see ESPN is further backing up their claims of being serious about soccer in the United States?
