American midfielder Justin Mapp is on his way to Philadelphia after his club Chicago Fire agreed a deal on Monday.

The Chicago Fire have traded American midfielder Justin Mapp to expansion side Philadelphia Union in exchange for allocation money. The 25 year old midfielder is in his 9th Major League Soccer season, spending the majority of his time with the Chicago Fire.

Mapp has eight appearances for the United States senior national team and will be eligible to make his Union debut Saturday at PPL Park against New England. Per MLS and club policy terms of the trade were not disclosed.
