Schalke midfielder Jermaine Jones could make his debut for the United States against Brazil next week.


The United States has released the roster for next week’s friendly against Brazil. The roster features 14 players that featured at the 2010 World Cup.

Schalke midfielder Jermaine Jones, who has 3 caps for the German national, but switched affiliation to the United States in 2009 could be in line to earn his first US cap.

Here is the US squad:

Goalkeepers

Brad Guzan (Aston Villa), Tim Howard (Everton)

Defenders

Carlos Bocanegra (AS Saint Etienne), Jonathan Spector (West Ham), Jonathan Bornstein (Chivas USA), Steve Cherundolo (Hannover), Clarence Goodson (IK Start), Chad Marshall (Columbus Crew)

Midfielders

Sacha Kljestan (Anderlecht), Alerjandro Bedoya (Orebro), Landon Donovan (Los Angeles Galaxy), Michael Bradley (Borrusia Monchengladbach), Mauride Edu (Rangers), Jermaine Jones (Schalke), Benny Feilhaber (Aarhus)

Forwards

Edson Buddle (Los Angeles Galaxy), Robbie Findely (Real Salt Lake), Herculez Gomez (Pachuca)

Notable omissions include Jozy Altidore, Clint Dempsey, Jay Demerit, Ricardo Clark and Oguchi Onyewu, who were all included in the World Cup squad.
